The corset is snug but not painful, and the lacing at the back allows you to adjust the tightness as you feel. I chose the black version and it's really versatile. The draping on the skirt slips slightly when walking fast, but it generally stays in place. My advice: if you have a large bust, take one size up for the corset. For others, your usual size works well. Overall very satisfied, it's a beautiful dress for the price.
